Join us at The United Theatre for Speakeasy Choir -- grab a drink, learn harmonies, and in just 90 minutes, you'll perform "Come On Eileen" with the UNITED house band!

It's your LAST CHANCE to register for Sing & Play!

Starting September 10, join Ms. Bergin O’Malley for Sing & Play — an interactive music class designed for children ages 9 months to 7 years, where grown-ups are invited to join in the fun, too! Families will sing, move, play, and explore music together in an engaging, music-filled session.

Sessions are held on Thursdays:
Morning | 10:30–11:00 AM — 9 months–Preschool
Afternoon | 4:15–4:45 PM — Pre-K–2nd Grade

Registration for our new family music program closes THIS FRIDAY, August 28!

Designed for children ages 9 months–7 years, Sing & Play invites families to sing, move, play, and explore music together in an engaging session led by Ms. Bergin O’Malley.

Sessions are held on Thursdays:

SPEAKEASY CHOIR - COME ON EILEEN | SEPT 4 | 7:00pm - The UNITED and the Chorus of Westerly present Speakeasy Choir - a one night collaborative chorus open to anyone. Think karaoke leveled up by a community of voices! Guests will join a singing ensemble for the night and will learn a song with harmonies. At the end of the night, after just 90 minutes of fun and learning, you'll take the stage with your fellow singers for an unforgettable performance with live support from the rocking 5-piece UNITED House Band (made up of instructors of the The UNITED Music School and other local musicians from Southeastern CT and Rhode Island).
This month we will be learning and performing the song “Come On Eileen” by Dexys Midnight Runners!

Last week, we said goodbye to our Manager of Advancement Services, Isobel, as she wrapped up her time here at the Chorus. She had a few parting words and hilarious anecdotes to share with us before she left — and yes, we will officially dedicate the staff fridge crisper drawer to her.

Isobel, we will miss you dearly, but we know you’ll achieve amazing things as you embark on this next chapter. Thank you for your dedication, your kindness, and all the ways you’ve made our Chorus community a brighter place!

Registration is now open for Encore Choir, our newest choral program at Kent Hall!

Encore Choir is a welcoming, non-auditioned daytime chorus for adults ages 65+ who love to sing, connect with others, and enjoy the many benefits of making music together.

Rehearsals: Fridays, 10:45 AM–12:00 PM, beginning September 25.
