WHS Class of 2020 Grad Party

Hello parents, we are reaching out to all of you trying to get a feel and your thoughts on the graduation ceremonies for our senior children. Under the guidelines of the Rhode Island Department Health Education there is much more that can be done. At this point, Rosemary Colao has gone above and beyond. She has written a letter to the superintendent, principal, school committee, Town Council, police department and the state political representatives. Emails have been sent to the governor and RIDE as well. Dana Fusaro has emailed many plans that follow all of the RIDE guidelines for us to have a graduation ceremony.
Do we keep fighting or are we content with the decision, having our graduation at the Misquamicut drive-in movie theater? Are we as a class willing to push graduation off until end of June?

Good morning all! I hope that all of you had a beautiful and joyous holiday.
I'm back at it with the calendars. Tomorrow is our deadline date. We sold 500 calendars and we have about 12 left to sell. Each lottery calendar, which is for the month of January, are $25. All the money raised for this lottery calendar will benefit our children for the overnight graduation party. If you are interested in buying a Calendar or know someone that will .....please send them my way. Thank you so much for your time. Good morning!!
Hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving weekend. Just wanted to keep you updated with our calendar fundraiser. We have approximately 70 calendars to sell out of our 500 that we already have sold. If anyone wants to buy a $25 January lottery calendar please let us know.!!!
Wednesday, December 11, the ivory Ella store in Mystic will be giving us 20% of their proceeds from 6/9 PM. Working with Deanna Fallon to get that flyer out throughout the whole school. Needs to be approved first.
We have been getting business donations. Parents are starting to send their money donations as well..
We will keep you all updated. Hoping for a meeting in January. Hope you all have a nice day....

Good morning,
We have just confirmed with Matt from Ivory Ella. They will be hosting a fundraiser at Ivory Ella in their store in Mystic on Wednesday, December 11th from 6:00-9:00pm.
20% of the proceeds will be donated to the WHS All Night Grad Party Class of 2020.
As soon as the fundraiser form is approved, Deanna Fallon will be able to send it throughout the High School.
As of last week we have received approximately $525 from business donations and
$750 from parents.....

Hello all, we are doing a great job reaching out to most of the senior parents. Through Facebook and text we have reached a little over 100 parents. There is 187 students in the graduating class. There will be a permission slip being sent home in the next couple of weeks that needs to be returned back to the school so we can get an idea of approximately how many kids will be attending the all night graduation party.
Everything is confirmed but on hold until we hear from Mashantucket to confirm the times for the evening.
We are almost at the end of selling our 500 lottery calendars. They are not due until December 28th. We still have 40 calendars that are on unaccounted for. If  you would like to sell some calendars please contact me, Maria at 401–212–6392. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 
We also have a tentative date for the Ivory Ella store in Mystic for Thursday, December 12 from 6/9. 20% of their sales will be given back to our all night grad party class of 2020. To be confirmed soon.
We are also asking parents for contributions.
