We had an extremely successful 2025 trunk n treat in memory of Ruth Peck Savino whose idea more than 10 years ago was to get the kids off the streets where they were safe and could have fun trick or treating ♥️. Ruth passed away from breast cancer four years ago this October and made us promise we would continue. It’s been hard setting it up by myself the last few years but tonight once again I had some great people help me, my husband, Richie, my daughter, Kim, and her boyfriend, Bob and my dear friend Jackie McMullen as well as my dear friends at Bite Food Truck who donated 10% of their profit back to the Cemetery!. In addition- Over the last month we collected over $700 from many generous businesses for which we were able to buy gift cards and candy so everybody that set up a vehicle won a prize - prizes started at a $100 gift card down to numerous gift cards at $50 and $25 even a $10 one ♥️. And we shared candy when people started to run out, but then we ran out because we had so many wonderful Trunk or treaters and even their parents were dressing up. It was a really fun evening. Sometimes the week before I get so stressed I say never again but then I see the kids having so much fun and the parents thanking us -that I go…. OK~ I’ll do it again. ♥️🥹. We want to acknowledge all the generous supporters so far of our 2025 Trunk n Treat this year!
