Wagging Tails Rescue NY Wagging Tails is a small foster home based rescue group located in lower Westchester County NY.

Wagging Tails Dog Rescue NY does not receive any federal, state or local funding and relies soley on our generous donors. Donations can always be made on our website waggingtailsdogrescueny.com. Lt. Dan and Tripsie seem to be working things out! They’re playing together in the cat tower, although Tripsie may need a nap—and perhaps a personal trainer—to keep up with him.

Lt. Dan is the one with the disability, but apparently nobody told him. Wherever the fun is happening, he’s determined to be part of it. Once again, he’s proving that there are no limits to what he can do. This little guy has places to go, and Tripsie is just trying to keep up!

Lieutenant Dan is determined to get back to Tripsie! He’s so excited to have a friend that his idea of play is a little rough for her… so here I am, once again, playing referee.

But watching him figure out how to get exactly where he wants to go is absolutely amazing. We call him disabled, but Lieutenant Dan certainly doesn’t see himself that way. He’s got places to go and a friend to pester, and nothing is stopping him.

Sometimes miracles really do happen! 😂🐾

Here’s Rocky, rolling around in his dog bed, enjoying life and acting like a sweet, normal dog for once! Who knew he had it in him?! 🤣❤️

These rare moments deserve to be documented because we all know Rocky marches to the beat of his own drum! 🐶💙

A little heart-to-heart with Lieutenant Dan! 🐾❤️

We’re working on being a nice friend and learning that not everyone appreciates his enthusiastic style of play! 😂

Lieutenant Dan gets SO excited when he thinks he’s found a new friend that sometimes he forgets the other kitten might not share his idea of fun!

He means well, he just has a whole lot of personality packed into that little body! I think he’s finally starting to listen to me… or at least pretending to! 🤣❤️
