We are incredibly proud to celebrate our Founder & CEO, Traci Stephens Caines, on being recognized with the Health Champion Award!

This recognition reflects years of unwavering dedication to advancing health, wellness, nutrition, youth development, and community pride across Long Island.

Through the Community Connections Youth Farmers Market and other community initiatives, Traci has worked to expand access to fresh, affordable, locally grown produce while creating meaningful opportunities for young people to gain employment, develop leadership skills, and explore entrepreneurship. Her commitment to advancing food equity, promoting water safety, and building healthier communities continues to demonstrate that lasting change begins with access, trust, leadership, and meaningful connections.

A heartfelt thank you to Jacob Dixon, Choice for All, and the Breakfast of Champions Committee for hosting such an inspiring and impactful celebration. The event beautifully honored individuals who are making a difference every day through service, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to their communities.

We are grateful for this recognition and remain committed to building healthier, stronger communities—together.

If you’re looking for a family-friendly event that will get you into the Halloween spirit without the haunting frights of Spooky Walk, join us for Not-So-Spooky Walk on Sunday, October 26 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Clark Botanic Garden. Be sure to dress in your favorite costume! The event is suitable for children of all ages.
