Our mission is to teach the residents of the Valley Shore to read, write and speak English to further their work and life skills in our community.

We are excited to showcase some the local artisan items being offered as a part of the silent auction during our Night of Comedy fundraiser on June 26th from 6-9pm at the Estuary in Old Saybrook. In addition to the silent auction there will be raffle baskets, a 50/50 raffle, food drinks, and lots of laughter with our featured comedians Howie Mason and Andrea Henry! Laughter for LVVS – A Night of Comedy & Giving!

Join us for an unforgettable evening of comedy, giving, and community. We’re hosting a night that’s guaranteed to leave you in stitches—all while supporting Literacy Volunteers Valley Shore tutoring program.

We are so excited to announce the scheduling of our major fundraiser, A Night of Comedy on Friday, June 26 at The Estuary in Old Saybrook from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

Get ready for a night of wit and winning! The evening will feature comedians Howie Mason and Andrea Henry, along with a silent auction, raffle, food, drinks and more!

Tickets are $50 which includes a buffet dinner and one drink ticket. There will be a cash bar available. Tickets can be purchased at the Literacy Volunteers website www.lvvs.org on. A valid email is REQUIRED along with your first and last name if purchasing tickets online. You will receive an email confirmation of your ticket(s) purchase.
