NEW PROGRAM ALERT!

Tennis in the Parks - Youth Learn & Play | The tennis program where kids play while they learn!

This program is for brand-new, beginner, or returning novice youth players. Led by a USTA-approved coach, the focus is on FUN and learning the basics. The program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets and engaging activities that help players successfully learn and play the game quicker.

And ... each youth participant in their first session will receive a free age-appropriate tennis racket and ball to keep!

On Thursday, we enjoyed brunch at Town Line Diner — newly-opened on Rt. 302 at the Westbrook/Windham line, where the food and service were amazing, and then visited the MSSPA Equine Farm for a tour of their incredible facility.

The Maine State Society-Protection of Animals (MSSPA), located in Windham, is a non-profit organization committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abused and neglected equines, including horses, ponies, and donkeys.

Key Features:
• Provides sanctuary for animals that are not adoptable
• Offers educational programs to raise awareness
• Collaborates with law enforcement to rescue animals from neglectful situations
• Operates primarily on donations for funding

A one-hour tour of the facility, which spans 124 acres, allows visitors to explore the farm with a private guide, meet the animals – they currently have over 40 horses, and learn about the extremely important work done by the MSSPA.

Town Line Diner opened its doors this past February, providing the area with a new breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot. It offers classic American diner fare with creative twists, including omelets, pancakes, and hearty sandwiches. The menu features all-day lunch items like grilled melts, burgers, salads, and house specialties, along with appetizers, desserts, and beverages.

Wednesday was our last day of Bingo Blitz until our FREE Redwood Society programming resumes in September, but we were able to cap off the 2025-26 season with a bang!
