📚 Open Volunteering for Teens! 📚

Grades 9-12! Need volunteer hours? Help with library projects and earn hours while doing it! No experience necessary.

Choose 30 minutes or 1 hour. Spots are limited to 3 students per night, and advance registration is required. Please contact Beth at [email protected] or (860) 399-6422 at least 24 hours in advance.

🍽️ November Cookbook Club! 🎉

Join us on Tuesday, November 10th at 5:30 PM as we cook from "Let’s Party: Recipes and Menus for Celebrating Every Day" by Dan Pelosi, with a special guest appearance from Dan himself and his mother! 👩‍🍳✨

Copies of the cookbook are available at the Circulation Desk. Registration is required by November 4th. This program is for adults 18+.

Come ready to celebrate, cook, and chat about all things food! 🥂

📜 Signed, Sealed, Undelivered: The Bordeaux-Dublin Letters, 1757📜

Join us Thursday, November 12th from 7:00-8:00 PM as Professor Thomas Truxes tells the fascinating story of letters captured at sea in 1757 and discovered nearly 250 years later in 2011.

Learn what these letters reveal about the lives of working people, students studying abroad, and relationships between men and women almost 270 years ago.

Registration is suggested. Register by calling the library or on our website.

Join us on Thursday, October 15th at 6 PM for a fun and informative presentation with Maureen, a CT Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator from Winghand Bat Rehab and Education! Learn all about bats and meet bat ambassadors who are unable to live in the wild.

For ages 5 and up. Registration is required.
