Valley Shore YMCA

Valley Shore YMCA The mission of the Valley Shore YMCA is to develop and encourage the growth of all individuals in spirit, mind, and body in an atmosphere of mutual respect.

Together we give possibility.
At the Y, you will have the opportunity to make friends, have fun, get active and discover your health. Our activities, which range from youth and adult sports and summer day camp to group exercise classes and even a knitting club, will give you the opportunity to have a healthier, happier tomorrow. Members often say that once engaged as a Y member, the

benefits of belonging to the Y far exceed the initial reasons for joining. By focusing on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, we’re working to improve the quality of life for everyone in our community. We’re making sure children and teens have the assets and support they need to reach their full potential. We’re teaming up with organizational partners to help our community combat chronic disease and providing individuals the programs and services they need to improve their physical, mental, and spiritual health. We’re working with our neighbors throughout the community to make sure they have the resources they need to learn, grow, and thrive. The Y is powered by volunteers who serve on our board, teach fitness classes, instruct adults and kids in aquatics, and donate professional services. Adults who can also give back are a true gift for our children and the community’s future. If you have the ability to give or want to help raise money to fund Y programs or support participation for children and families, please let our staff connect you to others who also want to make a difference. Whether its aquacise, yoga or Krav Maga for yourself, swim lessons for the kids or a rewarding volunteer opportunity, we’re certain that you will find that the Valley Shore YMCA has something everyone can enjoy. We hope to see you soon!

To round out Water Safety Month, we saved the best for last. 💧🏊

Swim lessons are one of the most important ways to help everyone stay safer and more confident around water. Beyond learning strokes, swim lessons teach important safety skills, build confidence and independence, and help swimmers feel more comfortable in and around the water.

Registration for summer session 1, group swim lessons is open at the Valley Shore YMCA. 🏊

Only a few short weeks until the end of school, and summer memories are waiting to be made. ☀️

At Camp Shore, kids spend their days swimming, creating, exploring, playing, laughing, making friends, and trying new things in a safe and supportive environment.
Camp is where confidence grows, friendships form, and unforgettable memories are made. For many kids, it becomes the highlight of their entire year and the start of their best summer ever. ❤️

And not to mention a little breathing room for parents. Time to work, recharge, catch up, or simply enjoy knowing your child is active, safe, happy, and having the best summer ever
