HELP A LOCAL CHILD! Westbrook Santa Cause is back! Over the past six years, we have helped over 1000 kids wake up on Christmas morning with bright smiles on their faces. Please help the Westbrook community by adopting a child this holiday season!

Adopters - we will be accepting drop offs November 8th- Dec 7th at the Westbrook Community Center (426 Bridge St, Westbrook, ME 04092). Please go to the reception desk and they will show you where to place your new, unwrapped, Labeled gifts.

Happy November! We are excited to start accepting submissions for those families looking to have their children adopted confidentially this holiday season. Please fill out the form below with the details about your child/children. As a reminder, you must live in Westbrook, Maine and there will be no deliveries this year. Additionally this is for children 17 and under and we will be comparing lists from previous years. We will leave the form open until November 3rd or until we reach 150 kids, whichever is the earliest.

For those using this form, you will know you do it correctly, when you reach a thank you page and will also receive a confirmation email (please check spam). If you have any questions, please reach out via Facebook messenger.

We are excited to announce the 6th annual Westbrook Santa Cause Adopt-A-Family for the Holidays is back. Read all the way through to avoid disqualification. Starting November 1st, we will start accepting submissions for those in need from Westbrook, Maine looking to have their children confidentially adopted this holiday season. Submissions will be open until November 3rd or until we reach 150 kids, whichever is the earliest.

A few reminders below:

· You must live in Westbrook, ME to sign up
· There will be no deliveries and all items will need to be picked up (Details to come)
· For children 17 and under and we will be comparing lists from previous years.

For those of you who are looking to adopt or donate (Thank you!), the adoption form will be released in early November.

IMPORTANT: Pick up for all families is this weekend Dec 14/15 9am-3pm at the Westbrook Community Center Come early for the better selection of wrapping paper! 🤗 All 150 kids on the list were provided for thanks to our generous sponsors and monetary donations! This season was nothing short of incredible!!

A Message from Maine Santa Cause

We want to take a moment to address the messages of frustration and disappointment we’ve received from those who were not able to secure support through Westbrook Santa Cause this year.

First and foremost, we want to express our deepest empathy for the unique and challenging circumstances many families are facing. The reality is that this year, our list filled up in less than a day, with 150 children—the most we’ve ever supported in a single year. In addition, over 100 more children were placed on our waitlist.

Please know that Maine Santa Cause is 100% volunteer-run. We work tirelessly to make an impact, but we are limited by our resources and capacity. The work that goes into coordinating this effort is immense, and we are doing everything we can to support as many children as possible.

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our community supporters, who make all of this possible. What we are able to accomplish together is nothing short of amazing, and we truly wish we could help every family in need.

That said, we kindly ask for your understanding. It’s not fair or kind to direct frustration toward our team or volunteers. We are here to help, not hurt, and your patience and kindness mean the world to us as we work through this challenging process.

Each year, submissions open on November 1st, and we encourage you to follow our page and spread the word to ensure you’re aware of the timeline. The best way to help us continue to grow and support more families is by sharing our mission and encouraging donations from others in the community.
