To meet our goal of $30,000 we need to raise $19,540. Admittedly that's a pretty big number, but we can do it!

When you're fundraising, every donation counts. The big ones are fantastic of course, but the smaller ones add up to big numbers. Imagine if every donation from here forward was $50. We would meet our goal with 390 donations. $100...195 donations. Follow the math?

Our goal is to help individuals and families who have been hit extraordinarily hard by the pandemic and who are facing extreme financial circumstances. If you believe in our cause please donate today and like and share this post. Let's show our true colors of generosity and caring Westborough!

It's hard to believe it's been almost a week since our last post! Time flies when we're having fun and networking within the community to fundraise for this important cause!

Shout out thanks to Carruth Partners and a few anonymous donors. Thanks to their generosity we we find ourselves a third of the way to our goal. While we have a ways to go, to get to $30,000, we are making steady progress!

This article was in the Feb 21 Boston Globe Ideas Section.
It's a quick, but poignant read. This story is shared in the first person by "Kelly", a Boston resident. She writes openly about her experiences with homelessness and housing insecurity from early childhood through adulthood. This is a Boston story, but make no mistake, there are individuals and families right here in Westborough who are facing the same challenges. Homelessness and housing insecurity creates unimaginable challenges, especially for children.
The goal of the Westborough COVID-19 Community Fund is to help those in need to overcome such challenges that are a direct result of the pandemic.
