Westfest, in partnership with the City of West, welcomed Martin Netolicky, Governor of the Pardubice Region in the Czech Republic, this morning at Gerik's Ole' Czech Bakery in West.
Pardubice is one of several regions in the Czech Republic. During the visit, several dignitaries from the region experienced the hospitality of our city.
Following a brief tour of town led by Mayor Chris Nors and City Manager Brian Daily, the delegation will travel to Ennis to attend the National Polka Festival celebration.
Special thanks to Jeannie and Bryan Anderson for the use of their facility and for the delicious pastries.
