We are deeply saddened to share the news that CMHF Member Dale Corman has passed away at the age of 88. Inducted into the CMHF in 2022, Corman was an industry legend and trailblazer widely known for having the ability to see the potential of early-stage opportunities and making them succeed.
Over his 50-year career he served as director of 25 public companies and was involved in the development of seven mines and mineral deposits, including the Carmacks and Casino deposits in the Yukon, as well as the San Nicolas deposit and Penasquito mine in Mexico.
Corman’s accomplishments and contributions to the sector will forever be remembered and honoured by the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame.
Our thoughts are with his family.
