🎉 Happy New Year 🎉
It’s Day 1 of a fresh start. A blank canvas. A new chapter.
You woke up this morning standing upon another layer in your foundation that 2025 built.
You’re not underneath it. It didn’t bury you. No, it taught you something about yourself and about God.
About yourself, you learned that everything was meant to go under your feet—
“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.” -Luke 10:19
“The God of peace will soon crush Satan under YOUR feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.” -Romans 16:20
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” -James 4:7
You learned about your authority in the Lord.
That nothing has the power to crush you unless YOU give it power.
It doesn’t mean we won’t feel the weight of the details in our story, but it does mean that the outcome has already been written about in heaven and we can take a stance that says, “If God said it, then that settles it and I decree and declare EVERY DETAIL WILL COME TO PASS IN MY LIFE. There will be NO DELAY. EVERY BLOCK HAS TO BE REMOVED BECAUSE I WILL WALK IN WHAT HEAVEN HAS AUTHORIZED OVER MY LIFE!”🔥🔥🔥
About God, you learned His faithfulness…
“God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” -1 Corinthians 1:9
You learned that He will never leave you nor forsake you…
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” -Deuteronomy 31:6
You learned He is a covenant keeping God. He cannot go back on His word…
“If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.” -2 Timothy 2:13
You learned that He always directs your steps and you can trust Him…
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” -Proverbs 3:5-6
“The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.” -Psalms 37:23-24
There may have been stumbles in 2025, but when the road gets more narrow, as you walk closer with the Lord, your steps have to be more intentional. But God secures your footing…
“For the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught.” -Proverbs 3:26
So today, January 1, 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣…
Activate your faith by speaking God’s Word over yourself, over your life.
Walk close with the Lord.
Walk boldly and confidently with eyes fixed on Him.
Don’t turn to the right or to the left.
With God before you, the best is yet to come…
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” -1 Corinthians 2:9
Look up. Your future awaits you.
