We want to send a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who spent their Sunday morning helping pull weeds, picking up trash, and giving our school playground some much-needed TLC! Thanks to your hard work, our kids have a brighter space to play, laugh and learn. Our school community truly shines when we come together! 🧡

Looking for a way to lend a hand? We’ve got great news:
🗓 Monthly Playground Cleanup Days
Starting next month. Join us on the first Saturday of every month(as long as there's no snow on the ground) to help keep our playground and grounds looking their best.

It’s a wonderful, family-friendly way to get outdoors, connect with other parents and show our school some love.
Bring your work gloves and the whole family—even an hour makes a huge difference!

Today is the big day we will RUN for the HILLS 👟

All students run/walk and all parents are welcomed and encouraged to come cheer on western Hills!

Can’t wait to see you there!

Run times by grade level:

Kinder and 1st: 10am-10:30am

2nd and 3rd: 10:45am-11:15am

4th and 5th: 11:45am-12:15pm

6th - 12:15-12:45

RUN for the HILLS!
📢 ROUTE ANNOUNCEMENT 📢
Due to very muddy field conditions (so much rain!) we have changed the route for tomorrow.

Students are still encouraged to bring a water bottle as we will have a water filling station.

T-shirts will be distributed into classrooms this evening and teachers will make sure all the students have their T-shirts in the morning. We are hoping students will put the T-shirts on over long sleeves and sweatshirts so they are visible. 

We still have some available slots to sign up and volunteer tomorrow. We need people helping all along the new route, handing out bananas and so much more.

💰 Change was collected this morning. These totals will be announced tomorrow morning during announcements. Keep up the great work, Western Hills. Friday is the last day to send in change.

Our fun run is the main fundraiser for the PTO’s yearly budget. The PTO funds things like 6th grade activities, Tiger Ticket cart, Recess playground balls, Teacher reimbursements for classroom purchases, field trips, family nights at the school and much more.
