Parenting Way, Inc. We are a non-profit organization that is dedicated to educating Parents for the Health, Safety and Success of Children and Youth. The class is free of charge.

Our website is www.parentingway.org The Parenting Way™ Parent Education Classes – a ten week curriculum-based course that is open to any parent, grandparent or guardian. This class receives referrals from the Department of Human Services, Juvenile Court, Family Court, Community-based agencies and individual self referrals. It was developed in conjunction with the United Way of Central Iowa and has

been evaluated using Results Based Accountability scoring. Community-Based Family Support – an ongoing Child Abuse Prevention program with a focus on parent group support, youth and children social and emotional group support and resources. The program is parent-driven, includes a Parent Leadership component and is facilitated by trained staff. Support groups are free of charge, and child care is provided.
