Late post, but 7s state tournaments were epic!
Rugby Iowa Commissioner Dennis Oliver summed the season up best:
“This was probably the best 7s season Rugby Iowa has ever had. We saw a record number of registrations, some of the most parity this league has had in a long time, and an incredible level of competition across both classifications. I’m proud of the volunteers, coaches, referees, and families that continue to drive Rugby Iowa to be one of the best SROs in America. We are GROWING GOLD, and it’s showing in our states own college programs and the players leaving Iowa to compete around the country. Iowa is producing an incredible product, and I’m proud to be a part of this. ”
