The PTA is looking for interested parents and caregivers to sign up to be homeroom parents. Each classroom needs 1-2 volunteers.

What does a homeroom parent do?
*Acts as the go-between for the teacher, class families, and PTA.
*Plans and coordinate three classroom parties (September 25, December 18 and March 11)
*Share the teacher’s Amazon Wishlist and coordinate small gifts for birthdays or Teacher Appreciation Week.
*Ensure class photos get to the yearbook committee.

We will gladly ensure you have any and all information to do the above tasks and support you as needed. This is one of our jobs that can be done by parents who work full time and are not always available during school hours, as most is done via email communications!

Sign up by September 3 to indicate your interest and assignments will be communicated by September 6.

Thank you for your support to ensure all classrooms have a lead support person.

Stop by and see us on Back To School Night at Westridge! Thursday, Aug. 20 from 4:30 - 6:00 pm. We will have event information, yearbook orders and t-shirts for sale! If you ordered school supply boxes, those will be waiting in your child's classroom.

New to Westridge family orientation is from 4:00 - 4:30 and new this year a sensory-friendly half hour (also 4:00 - 4:30 pm) for families of students with special needs and sensory sensitivities to walk the school and see their classrooms.
