We are so grateful to the West Yellowstone Foundation for their support through this Community Grant! This partnership enables us to launch critical community education initiatives on wildlife safety and coexistence right here in West Yellowstone, at the gateway to Yellowstone National Park and in the heart of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.

As we work to protect keystone species and promote responsible human-wildlife coexistence, education is essential. Together, we're building a community where people and wildlife can thrive side by side.

Stay tuned for educational resources, upcoming events, and training workshops!

The West Yellowstone Foundation is proud to welcome the Keystone Wildlife Coalition as a new community nonprofit. KWC has received a $5,000 Community Grant to support upcoming wildlife education programs in West Yellowstone.

We’re grateful to support their work protecting keystone species and strengthening conservation awareness across our region.

We're officially here, we're officially ready, and America's wildlife has never had stronger advocates.
For the past two years, while building Keystone Wildlife Coalition into a fully recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we've been quietly working toward one big vision: true coexistence between humans and wildlife.
πŸŽ“ EDUCATION FIRST: We believe lasting change starts with understanding. Our educational programs teach Montana communities (and beyond) that human-wildlife conflicts aren't inevitable, they're preventable through science-based coexistence practices.
πŸ›‘οΈ FIELD OPERATIONS: When education meets emergency, our teams are ready. From anti-poaching patrols in areas with increased rates of illegal hunting activity, to animal transportation for sanctuaries and rehabilitation facilities, or even emergency rescues, we're the boots-on-the-ground force protecting keystone species when they need it most.
🀝 COEXISTENCE IS POSSIBLE: Every illegal snare we remove, every animal we relocate safely, and every community we help educate builds toward a future where humans and wildlife don't just survive side by side, but thrive together.
🎯 Help us reach our $10,000 end-of-year goal to fund critical equipment and expand our lifesaving work into 2026.

🌿 Did you know that the oldest recorded Sandhill Crane was at least 37 years old? Originally banded in 1982 in Florida it was later found in Wisconsin in 2019.
