What a great day! Thanks to so many generous donors, we were able to raise enough money to buy ๏ฟผover 2,200 turkeys to help some of the less fortunate families here in Rhode Island put a turkey on their Thanksgiving table this year These turkeys were distributed by multiple volunteers over the last several days to over 30 churches, shelters, schools, community centers, soup kitchens, and other organizations in need.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to all of the committee members who helped raise the funds that made this day possible, to all the volunteers who took time out of their busy schedules to help with the distribution of the turkeys, and to all of the organizations who received these turkeys, because what they do every day of the year to help those in need is absolutely amazing!
