PRO BOAT ANNOUNCES NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH NAMBA DISTRICT 20
CHAMPAIGN, Illinois — Pro Boat recently expanded our support of the RC power boat community by entering into a new partnership with NAMBA District 20 (Northern Colorado Model Boaters). Pro Boat is now the official sponsor of several District 20 events that give newcomers of all ages a chance to join the RC boating fun.
The NAMBA District 20 Kids ‘R’ Boaters Too class is designed to provide children with an exciting, age-appropriate way to race RC boats. As the product sponsor for this class, Pro Boat is supplying District 20 with Recoil 2 18” deep vee models for the youngsters to race. This is the ideal boat to give them a successful start on the water — it’s self-righting to eliminate the fear of overturning and has throttle limiting to keep speeds within their comfort zone.
Pro Boat is also the official product sponsor of the District 20 Arrive and Drive class. Arrive and Drive is for non-members who visit a NAMBA event and want to give RC boat racing a try. For this class, Pro Boat is providing Recoil 2 26” deep vee models that offer the same advantages as the 18” version in a larger size.
District 20 will be hosting this year’s NAMBA Nationals on September 14-21 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pro Boat has been named a Platinum Sponsor of the Nationals and is officially sponsoring the IROC and Kids ‘R’ Boaters Too classes.
