Laborers Local 295 LIUNA Local 295 is a labor union that represents hardworking men and women in the state of Utah.

As an affiliate of the Laborers’ International Union Of North America (LIUNA), we utilize a number of resources and programs that are designed to increase our member’s job skills and career opportunities, while improving the quality of life of our members and their families. Our efforts in the construction area is geared towards helping to provide a quality workforce to employers who know the valu

e of skill and qualified employees. Local 295 has only one office in Salt Lake City Utah, however our jurisdiction is the entire state of Utah. Our local primarily deals with the construction of commercial buildings, heavy and highway, industrial, refractory, refinery work and pipe lines.

The safety of our members is always our top priority.

Wildfires across the Northwest are creating smoky conditions that can affect Laborers on jobsites throughout the region. Wildfire smoke can travel hundreds of miles, even when the fire isn't nearby. Laborers should check local air quality before heading to work and take extra precautions when smoke levels rise. Staying informed and putting safety first helps ensure everyone makes it home safely at the end of the day.
