A huge thank you to Patrick and his team at the Utah Department of Workforce Services for continuing such a wonderful tradition of service! 💛

This year, their team generously contributed 100 backpacks for children in our Therapeutic Preschool Program and for children receiving Family Therapy services at both of our children's mental health centers.

Each backpack is filled with basic school supplies that can provide meaningful relief for families as they prepare for the school year—and we especially love seeing all the fun, colorful prints the children get to choose from! 🎒✏️✨

We’re so grateful to Patrick and the entire DWS team for showing up for children and families in our community year after year. Thank you for helping families head into the fall with a little more support and a little less stress.

We are so grateful to the RLC Family Foundation for its generous support of The Children’s Center Utah’s Therapeutic Preschool Program.

The program provides specialized mental health care for children ages two through five. Through group therapy, children build resilience and strengthen important social and emotional skills—understanding feelings, seeing another person’s perspective, asking trusted adults for help, connecting with others, managing anger, solving problems, and feeling successful in group settings.

Two weeks left to register for our Virtual Trauma-Informed Care Training Cohort!

This free, 32-hour Career Ladder approved training is designed for early childhood professionals who want practical tools for supporting children who have experienced trauma. Participants will explore relationships and development, brain development and stress, intervention strategies, resilience, responsive caregiving, and caregiver wellbeing.

A heartfelt thank you to the 1-800 Contacts team for spending time caring for our Therapeutic Preschool Program spaces! Their volunteers sanitized group room toys and play areas, helping us maintain clean, welcoming spaces for the young children we serve.

This meaningful project was completed in honor of a beloved team member whose care for children and mental health continues to inspire others.

The group also generously purchased items from our Family Store Amazon Wishlist, helping stock both our Lehi and West Valley locations with basic-needs items for children and families receiving mental health services.
