PROG People recently place more than 950 books directly into the hands of students at a Title 1 school in El Paso — and then spent time reading with them in their classrooms.

Literacy, encouragement, and human connection matter. A shared story, another caring adult, and access to a new book to nurture curiosity, strengthen confidence, and support students as they continue developing their own interests, talents, and goals.

At the PROG Foundation, we believe opportunity expands when communities show up for one another. We are proud to support volunteer efforts that strengthen education, connection, and access for students across the communities where PROG employees live and work.

Community impact takes many forms — and this time, the PROG Foundation had the opportunity to support a unique volunteer project led by PROG People’s cybersecurity team in partnership with Roots Charter High School.

As employees work toward an ambitious goal of contributing 3,000 volunteer hours this year, PROG Foundation is proud to help support and elevate volunteer efforts across the organization — both individually and team-based.

Volunteer opportunities range from virtual to in-person projects, local to nationwide initiatives, and one-hour opportunities to full-day service experiences. While projects take place across the country, many are rooted in the communities where PROG employees live and work — including Utah, Arizona, Georgia, and Texas.

We’re grateful to the cybersecurity team for investing their time, skills, and energy into supporting students and strengthening community through service.
