🎉 Exciting News! 🎉

We're thrilled to welcome Erika Rauscher to the Dreamers Wish Foundation Executive Board as our new Board Director – Corporate Partnerships & Program Strategy!

Erika brings over 35 years of development experience in higher education, having held positions at Union College, the University of Maryland, and the University of Hartford. She later transitioned into hospital administration, working in mental health and otolaryngology. Since 1995, she has worked alongside THANC's Medical Advisor, Mark Urken, MD, and has served as Executive Director of THANC since 2007 — advancing initiatives like the Thyroid Cancer Care Collaborative and the Head and Neck Cancer Guide across research, education, and patient support.

With much excitement, we're looking forward to leveling up our strategies and building stronger partnerships to help magnify our mission. Welcome, Erika! 🙌

BIG THANK YOU to everyone supporting our mission!

Thanks to our amazing donors—with a special shoutout to Phil & Sidy Baggley—we’re delivering new robotics equipment to our immigrant and refugee youth at the Hartland Partnership Youth Center!

Starting August 31st, our 12-week after-school program kicks off, helping kids build critical skills:

💡 Hands-on STEM: Coding, engineering, and design.

🧠 Problem-Solving: Critical thinking through fun challenges.

🤝 Teamwork: Building confidence and collaboration.

We love sharing videos of old classrooms being refurbished and brought back to life — giving our Dreamers in rural schools a safe, wholesome place to learn.

It's also worth celebrating the jobs we've created over the past 5 years for local masons, painters, and laborers. We offer competitive compensation so they can provide for their families, and our Dreamers get to work alongside these skilled professionals throughout the process.

Update from the Dreamers Team in Kenya

Early yesterday morning we received news that as our team was returning from their safari trip, they witnessed a terrible accident on the road in Kenya. Our Dreamers team was first on the scene and acted quickly, without hesitation, to rescue the victims and call for an ambulance, help that ultimately saved lives.

Special thanks to Jamal, Mani, Michele, William, and Maria for stepping up in that moment of crisis to assist injured passengers on the road. Your courage is a true reflection of who you are. We are grateful 🙏

We are deeply grateful that everyone involved is alright and recovering well. Please join us in prayer for the injured victims and their families in Kenya as they heal and recover. What a blessing each of you is to this mission and to the people you serve.

Our Changemakers from Utah and Puerto Rico have touched down in Kenya for our 10 day Solidarity Trip experience.
