While they’re not printed just yet, we’re excited to share what’s coming. Once they’re ready, we’ll let everyone know how to get one.

One of the most important ways you can support this effort doesn’t cost a thing. Talk with your friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers about why this levy matters. Sharing accurate information and having honest conversations can make a real difference.

Every child deserves a chance to grow up safe, and every community plays a role in making that happen. Thank you for helping spread the word and supporting the families and children of Adams County.

For over 140 years, Wilson Children’s Home has been part of Adams County’s commitment to protecting children.

When children need a higher level of care than a traditional foster home can provide, having a local option means they can often remain close to their schools, siblings, friends, and support systems instead of being placed hours away. It also helps keep local tax dollars invested in caring for children in our own community.

Every child deserves safety, stability, and the chance to stay connected to home whenever possible.

When children can’t safely remain with their families, staying close to their community can make a world of difference.

Adams County Children’s Services operates Wilson’s Children’s Home, giving many children the opportunity to remain near their schools, friends, siblings, medical providers, and other important supports during an incredibly difficult time in their lives.

For a child experiencing trauma, familiar faces and routines can provide comfort and stability while their family works toward reunification or another permanent plan.

The Children’s Services Levy helps support these local services, allowing children to remain connected to the community they call home whenever possible.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll continue sharing more about the programs and services made possible through the levy and how they impact children and families across Adams County.

It was so wonderful getting to see the amazing community of Adams County yesterday for the fair parade!! Supporters of Adams County Children Services Levy passed out candy and talked to the community about how to help out our kids on the ballot this fall!

Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who took time out of their day to walk for this amazing cause and stress the importance of passing the Children Services Levy to Voters and community members💙

The Adams County Children Services Levy Group would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone that showed up at the polls for the children of our community yesterday. Although the outcome was not what was sought to achieve, we are grateful to everyone that expressed their support, and the journey does not end here. The staff of Wilson Children’s Home and Adams County Children Services will continue to work tirelessly to provide vital services to the children and families of Adams County.
