What an unforgettable night in our village! The West Union Lions Club extends our deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us for the 15th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. A joyful evening was had by all, and it was made possible by the incredible generosity and spirit of our community.

We want to give a very special and heartfelt thank you to The National Bank of Adams County and its amazing employees.
Once again, your team opened not only the bank doors, but also your hearts, to host Santa’s Workshop. Because of your hospitality and dedication, children across Adams County enjoyed crafts, treats, and a magical visit with Santa. Your continued support keeps this tradition alive and meaningful each year.

We will be in West Union giving rides with our tolley starting at 5:30 this evening. We’ll be loading/unloading on the street behind the courthouse in front of Snappy’s. There is all kinds of things going on around the square too!

Each year, during Christmas on the Square, one special individual is chosen to officially light the Adams County Christmas Tree on the Courthouse Lawn.
This moment marks the start of our holiday season — and we want YOU to help select the person who will shine in this honored role.

We invite you to nominate someone who:
❤️ Makes a positive impact right here in Adams County
🤝 Gives back to the community
😊 Spreads kindness and joy
🌟 Embodies the true spirit of the season

The selected Grand Illuminator will join us on stage at 6:00 PM on Saturday, November 29, lead the official countdown, and flip the switch to light the tree — followed by photos with Santa inside the National Bank.
