CASA of Southern Ohio

CASA of Southern Ohio All of our CASAs are devoted child advocates and selflessly volunteer their time to help our children. Check out our website at https://www.adamssciotocasa.org

The mission of CASA of Southern Ohio is to recruit, train, guide, monitor and maintain qualified volunteers to advocate for the best interest of children who are before the court as a result of abuse, neglect and/or dependency. The Adams- Scioto CASA/GAL Program is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization advocating in Juvenile Court for children that have experienced abuse and neglect. A CASA

is a Court Appointed Special Advocate who builds relationships with children currently in the Juvenile Court System in order to effectively determine and advocate for their best interests. Our volunteers are passionate and dedicated to ensuring that children are in safe and stable environments. If you would like to become involved with Adams County CASA please call or reach out to Assistant Director, Kelsey Redmon, by email at [email protected]

May is Foster Care Awareness Month 💙

Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and heard. We are honored to advocate for children in foster care and stand beside them during some of the most difficult times in their lives.

Our CASA volunteers work tirelessly to ensure each child’s voice is heard and their best interests remain the priority. This month, we recognize the resilience of children in care, the dedication of foster families, and the incredible impact our volunteers and community partners make every single day.

Together, we can help change a child’s story. If you’ve ever considered becoming a CASA volunteer, now is the perfect time to learn more and make a difference in the life of a child. Apply at our website www.casaofsouthernohio.org

We are excited to share the re-launch of Scioto County Safe Babies—a child-focused, prevention-based program supporting expectant parents and families with children under age 5 in our community.
Our work is built on collaboration. We partner with local agencies, service providers, and community supports to strengthen families, reduce barriers, and ensure children are growing up in safe, stable, and nurturing homes.

Every family deserves support, not judgment. Whether you are expecting a baby or raising a young child, our team is here to help connect you with resources, encouragement, and services that fit your needs.

💛 What we do:
•Strengthen parent-child relationships
•Connect families with community resources
•Support safe sleep and healthy development
•Work alongside families to build stability
•Collaborate with partners to reduce gaps in care

We believe strong families build strong communities—and prevention works best when we work together.
If you are a parent, caregiver, or community partner who would like to learn more or connect with our program, we would love to hear from you.
