$500,000 MATCHING CHALLENGE! Help us turn it into $1 MILLION!

Big things are happening at Island Autism!

House One is complete and preparing to welcome its first four residents in the coming months.

House Two is under construction, bringing us another step closer to creating lifelong, supportive housing for adults with autism and other developmental disabilities on Martha's Vineyard.

Meanwhile, our programs at the Hub House continue to grow, creating opportunities for meaningful work, friendships, independence, and community.

And now we have some incredible news!

A generous donor has pledged $500,000 to Island Autism, if our community can match it!

That's $200,000 in 2026 and $300,000 in 2027. If we meet the challenge, together we'll raise $1 MILLION to help carry this work forward.

Every gift, large or small, brings us closer. And every eligible dollar donated toward the challenge will be matched!

We've come so far, but we need your help to take the next step.

We've built the first home. Now we need your help to build the second.

Our first four-bedroom residence at the Island Autism Center is complete, and we have received the approvals needed to begin welcoming residents.

Right next door, the foundation for House 2 has already been poured.

Now we need your help to finish it.

We have $2 million left to raise to complete Phase Two and build this second supportive home for autistic adults on Martha's Vineyard.

This isn't a plan for someday. Construction has begun. The need is here. And with the help of this extraordinary community, we can open another door to independence, security and belonging.

What a summer at Island Autism!

Our campers were busy all across the Island, spending time with the animals at Woodbe Farm, swimming at the YMCA of Martha's Vineyard , learning to sail through Sail Martha's Vineyard's Sailmobility program, getting creative at the Edgartown Public Library, exploring the Martha's Vineyard Museum, and enjoying games, activities, and time together at the Hub House.

We are so grateful to our partners on the island for welcoming our campers and helping make these experiences possible. And a huge thank you to our wonderful staff, families, volunteers, and supporters who made another memorable summer happen.
