URGENT ACTION NEEDED:

We had high hopes today that Maine was going to be the first state in the US with a common sense balloon law. The State Senate voted today on LD 937 which would have included balloons in current litter laws; prohibiting the intentional release of any number of balloons.

Unfortunately, many voted against the bill. Please join us in contacting your Maine State Senator to either thank them for supporting it or why they should reconsider!
