Hampden County 4-H

Hampden County 4-H Hampden County 4-H is a part of the Massachusetts 4-H youth program. The 4-H Youth Program in Hampden County consists of numerous clubs throughout the region.

Youth members have the opportunity to participate in a number of activities and programs through the Hampden County 4-H Fair Association and various clubs throughout the region. The Hampden County 4-H Fair Association is responsible for organizing workshops, field trips, community service opportunities, fundraisers and the annual fair. The Hampden County 4-H Fair is hosted on the Eastern States Ex

position fair grounds the last weekend in July every year. At the fair, youth members participate and showcase their hard work from the past year through demonstrations, animal showmanship, and hall exhibits. All public is welcome to attend and applaud the dedication and accomplishments of the 4-Hers.

Calling all Alums! 🍀

Calling all Massachusetts 4-H alumni!

The MA 4-H Hearts & Hands Alumni Association will be hosting a gathering at The Big E on Saturday, September 19, helping to bring together former 4‑H’ers and supporters who want to reconnect, grow their networks, and give back in ways that fit their lives.

The Massachusetts 4-H Foundation will have a limited number of complimentary admission passes available for alumni association members.

It’s that time again!

We are excited to let you know that registration for the 2026 4-H Milk Booth is open through SignUpGenius!

Volunteer shifts are available from September 18 through October 4, with the following shift times:
9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
All volunteers will receive a parking pass and gate pass for the day of their assigned shift. Volunteers who work five or more days will receive a 17-day pass.

We encourage you to sign up early to secure your preferred dates and times. As always, if you have questions or request accommodations please let us know. We look forward to another successful year at the Big E and appreciate your continued support.

That’s a wrap on 73rd Hampden County 4-H & Youth Fair. Can we order up this weather every year please? What a wonderful day celebrating the accomplishments of our youth. Thank you to all who helped make it a success.

Congratulations to all the exhibitors, families, volunteers and animals - this truly was a Fair to remember.

The Rick Sullivan Memorial Fun Run steps off at 9am tomorrow 73rd Hampden County 4-H & Youth Fair. This event is open to youth in Hampden County of all ages.
5yr and under run/walk - short run
6-8 yrs - 1/8 mile
9-11 yrs - 1/4 mile
12-15 yrs - 1/2 mile
16-18 yrs - 1/2 mile

Registration accepted right until the start. T-shirts provided. Ribbons to all participates. Juice provided at the end of race.

Entries are rolling in and we’re gearing up for another fun week showcasing the hard work our 4-Hers and youth put in all year.

Mark your calendars and plan to join us on July 25th at the Mallary Complex, Eastern States Exposition.

Check out the segment and be sure to visit Sam and all our 4-H youth on July 25th. The 4-H Dog Show runs throughout the day, along with other activities such as the bike rodeo, stomp rocket build & launch, pedal tractor pull, arts and crafts and more.
