Sunday is the cut off for discount Thunderbirds tickets!!!!

17th is our Spaghetti dinner fundraiser!!!
All proceeds from the Thunderbirds tickets and the Spaghetti dinner help fund our kids Christmas Party!

Here at American Legion Post 207, we believe the brave men and women who have served our country deserve to be celebrated, not just on Veterans Day, but EVERY day.

FINAL UPDATE: The ferret has been brought to Dakin. They will try to locate the owner, and if they can't be located the ferret will be adopted out. I'll leave this post up for a few more days!

UPDATE: Animal control said there is no hold on small animals, and no one has called. The person holding the ferret is going to call Dakin this afternoon.

Is anyone in the Park Ave/Main St/Bliss St area missing a ferret?
We just had a ferret walk into the back door of the American Legion. Animal control isn't in the office!

One of the bartenders is taking it home for the night but if you're missing your pet, please let us know asap!

Yesterday, September 18, on National POW/MIA Recognition Day, members of American Legion Post 207 and VFW 6714 proudly participated in a moving tribute at The Big E.

​The ceremony was expertly organized and hosted by Maureen Cragen, American Legion Auxiliary State Secretary, Past President, and our own dedicated Women's Auxiliary member. Her leadership anchored a powerful tribute honoring our Nation's prisoners of war and those still missing in action.

​Today and every day, we remember that over 80,000 members of our armed forces remain missing and unaccounted for.

American Legion Post 207 was honored to present the colors at the first home game of the season for our West Side Terriers!

There’s nothing quite like Friday night football, especially when it brings together our Veterans, our young athletes, and the community we’re so proud to call home. ❤️🤍💙

We’re incredibly proud of our Post 207 Color Guard members for representing the American Legion and helping start the Terriers’ home season with a tradition that means so much to all of us.

Here’s to a great season! 🏈

Every day, brave men and women risk everything to protect our freedom. Now it’s our turn to give back.

Join us in making a difference for local veterans.

The 2026 Park of Heroes will be on display starting October 18th through November 14th, 2026 at the West Springfield Town Common. Hampden County residents and businesses are invited to sponsor anyone they would like to honor with one of our keepsake flags. Each flag is displayed with a personal ID tag.

*Gold Sponsors will be identified with their name on the Sponsor Banner and 10 flags for their honorees.
*Platinum Sponsors will be identified with their name on the Sponsor Banner plus two individual signs and 10 flags for their honorees.

The deadline to order is October 9th. Please plan to pick up your keepsake flag November 14th, between noon and 1:00 p.m.
