The Friends of the Springfield Vet Center would like to thank Harold Skelton from Fishing for the Mission 22 for making a donating of $6000 at our golf tournament Saturday to pay for hotel rooms for 10 veterans that the Springfield Vet Center is sending to Washington D C this fall to see the unveiling of their Desert Storm and Desert Shield monument.

The Friends would like to thank North Elm Butcher Block for catering our cookout again, and the Air Force recruiters for setting up and taking down of our chairs and pop-ups.
This was the biggest turnout for July.
