The Massachusetts Recreation and Park Association is a non-profit membership based organization. MRPA is committed to education, training programs and representing the membership in advocating for the betterment of our agencies with policy-makers in the Commonwealth and on a national basis. We take pride in continuing to evaluate our membership services and we strive for everyone’s voice in shaping our methods of support. Our goal is to be a significant contributor and key to you professional growth. Now nearly 500 members strong, MRPA has been advocating on behalf of our membership for over 40 years.

More than 40 MRPA members had the opportunity to join over 8,000 recreation and park professionals in Philadelphia for the National Recreation and Park Association Conference!

It was a week filled with professional growth, new connections, relationship building, meeting new exhibitors, and reconnecting with longtime friends and commercial partners. 🤝🌳

We are so grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and represent MRPA alongside recreation and park professionals from across the country.

The Massachusetts Recreation and Park Association Board officially kicked off the 2026–2027 membership year at our annual board retreat, held at the beautiful Sea Crest Beach Resort in Falmouth. 🌊

We’re especially excited to announce that Sea Crest Beach Resort will be the home of the 2027 Annual MRPA State Conference & Exhibit Hall! 🎉

Our Board spent the retreat focused on the year ahead and working together on our strategic plan to support and strengthen the association. We’re energized about the opportunities ahead and the continued growth of MRPA and our membership.
