In case there's any question on where we stand with the federal administration's current occupation of Minnesota, we want to be clear:

F**K ICE.

Get out of our city and our state. Cease to exist.

We know you're all fighting this fight in ways you are able to because we see you. You're raising money. You're taking part in rapid response work to protect our neighbors. You're showing up to legally and peacefully observe and record. You're sharing what's happening so people all around the country can understand the truth. You're resting when you need to because this isn't going to be a sprint.

We're proud of you. We love you.

When we see two of our favorite WSP Pride attendees, like Clothesline Laundromat and First Presbyterian Church in South Saint Paul, partner on things, it makes our hearts grow tenfold, and we have to share the details. Please pass this along to anyone you know who could benefit from a couple of loads of free laundry tomorrow night!

Shout out to Laundry Love for stepping into our community and helping out.

FREE Laundry Night! January 8th
Partnering with First Presbyterian Church in South Saint Paul and Laundry Love , we bring to you a free laundry event every 2nd Thursday of the month!
When: Every 2nd Thursday (The next one is January 8th)
Where: Clothesline Laundromat
Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Cost: FREE (yes, really and detergent is included!)
This community event is open to everyone—come do your laundry courtesy of our friends at First Presbyterian SSP. Bring your laundry, bring your friends, and let us help lighten your load. Please share this with anyone who could benefit. See you there!
Event Guidelines – Please Read
To help things run smoothly and fairly for everyone:
- You must check in with the volunteers to be assigned 2 machines. We do not record names. We will have a Spanish speaking interpreter.
- Limit: 2 washers per household.
- The event ends at 7 PM. Make sure your last load is in the dryer by then.
- Stay with your laundry and your household the entire time. Children must be supervised by an adult.
- This event will end Summer of 2026.

Help Knock Out Hunger! Saturday, November 29, 10am-12pm at Two Rivers High School (1897 Delaware Ave, MH) Join in a friendly competition between City of West St. Paul and City of South St. Paul, Minnesota. We are looking for 8 teams of 11 people to help us pack 30,000 meals to feed our local community. Meals will be distributed to local nonprofits, including 360 Communities, Neighborhood House, Neighbors, Inc., and the Open Door Pantry. Participate in the challenge, or donate and cheer on your city!

RELEASE: Minnesota Q***r Legislators Caucus Respond to National Democrats Compromising on Trans Rights

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – In response to comments made by prominent Democrats arguing Democrats need to compromise on issues impacting trans Americans, like sports participation, the Minnesota Q***r Legislators Caucus issued the following statement:

“During a time when the Trump administration is using the full force of the federal government to dehumanize and eradicate trans Americans, we need our leadership to remember that the fight for equal rights for all has always been tied to trans rights. None of us would enjoy living out and proud without the hard work and sacrifices by trans women of color leading the Stonewall movement.

“We don’t allow individual states, counties, or communities to decide whether or not they accept our rights to get married, raise children, or recognize our basic human rights. All children deserve to play, and the Minnesota Q***r Legislators Caucus will always stand up for Minnesotans and fight against attempts to restrict personal liberties.

“Our commitment to protecting sports participation and educational opportunities for all Minnesotans is unwavering, and we want all members of our community to know that you are welcome in Minnesota.”
