Perfect! Sing Christmas carols!

New research suggests that singing during pregnancy may support a baby’s early brain development and emotional well-being. Studies show that fetuses can recognize melodies and respond to the mother’s voice in the womb, and daily exposure to gentle singing may strengthen newborns’ auditory processing — an ability linked to early language skills.

Singing also helps reduce maternal stress, creating a calmer environment for fetal development. Experts caution against loud music but say soft, regular singing is a simple, safe way to bond with a baby before birth.

Very true. Meet those who feel lost or are hurting with kindness. Be the light.

Very true. Meet those who feel lost or are hurting with kindness. Be the light.

Cry next to a child. She won’t try to quiet you or turn away — she’ll simply sit beside you, maybe wrap her tiny arms around you, or offer her favorite toy. Children don’t judge emotions… they meet them with kindness. We could all learn a thing or two from their hearts. 💛

Information

By the final weeks of pregnancy, your baby is fully grown and getting ready to meet you. 🤰💛

They now weigh between 5.5 lbs to 7.7 lbs (2.5–3.5 kg) on average and measure around 18–20 inches long — curled snugly inside your womb. Their lungs are mature, brain and senses are rapidly developing, and they can recognize your voice and even your touch through gentle belly rubs. 🩵👶

Space is tight, so those big kicks turn into slow rolls and stretches. Your baby’s head likely moves down into your pelvis — the perfect position for birth.

You’ve done it — your body has nurtured and built a whole human, ready to take their first breath. 🌷

It will never stop shocking me
that my kids were once inside me.

Like… they were right there.
Breathing with me.
Growing with me.
Kicking from the inside while I dreamed about who they’d be.

My body created them.
Every little eyelash, every heartbeat.
And now they’re here..
laughing, yelling “mom,” running through my house like they’ve always belonged.

How wild is that?
That something that once lived under my heart
now lives outside of it.

The most unreal, magical, once in a lifetime miracle
I’ll ever experience.
