VFW Post 8762: West Sacramento The VFW is a nonprofit dedicated to helping Veterans and their families. All proceeds go to helping Veterans in need. Seats up to 175 people, or 225 standing.

We feature a venue for booking private events, bar, kitchen, and we regularly host public events like karaoke, trivia, and more. Birthday parties, reunions, receptions, or corporate events, our banquet hall handles it all. The raised stage area is ideal for a band or DJ. Our bar is fully stocked and includes a selection of beers on tap. We also have a commercial kitchen available to rent. It's the perfect local venue for your private event.

Dear friends of MINOru Ohye. Mino recently spent a few days at VA Mather because of an infection. Since February 28 he moved into Assisted Care in Sacramento. Today (5/12) Mino was moved back into WSac at RiverBend care to aid his recovery. Mino would appreciate visits and would enjoy seeing old friends.

This morning at 2:45am an individual broke into our fenced area and cut our copper to our AC units.

A local veteran family needs our help. ❤️🇺🇸

Please join us at VFW Post 8762 on Friday, March 20 at 5:30 PM for a community fundraiser to support Steve & Melva Martin, who recently lost their home and belongings in a devastating fire.

We’ll be serving Shredded Chicken Sandwich plates with coleslaw and fries.
You can dine in with us or order to go.

Come out for dinner, stay for co****le and karaoke, and help us rally around one of our veteran families during a very difficult time.

Please join us for a Fundraiser Dinner for Jose, lovingly known as “Papa,” a sweet 4-year-old from a local veteran family who could use our community’s support.

Ma was a cherished part of our VFW family—a long-time, dedicated supporter of VFW Post 8762 and a proud Auxiliary member whose commitment, kindness, and steady presence meant so much to our Post and to all who knew her.

Her warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit touched countless lives, and her legacy of service and love will forever remain in our hearts.

📣 NOTICE FROM VFW POST 8762 🇺🇸
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but Bingo Nights are canceled for the remainder of the year.

As a result, we will be closed on Wednesdays for the remainder of December.

We are grateful for everyone who has supported and attended Bingo. We are working on improvements and plan to resume Bingo Nights in 2026.
