We are happy to announce the groundbreaking for Bryte Park. A long overdue investment in the north area of West Sacramento, mainly Broderick and Bryte.

Special thanks to all those that signed the petition, showed up in City Council and talked to their neighbors about what the Park has meant to us all. Together, we are the difference.

Parks mean health, connection, and life to a neighborhood. They give people free places to exercise, breathe clean air, and meet neighbors.

Health and Wellness
* Physical exercise: Walking paths, sports fields, and playgrounds help people stay active.

* Mental peace: Green trees and open grass lower stress and calm the mind

* Clean air: Plants and trees filter pollution and keep the neighborhood cool.

Community and Connection
* Social gathering: Parks host events, parties, and everyday meetings for families.

* Safe play: Children get a secure space to run and play outdoors.

* Brought-together neighbors: Public spaces build trust and friendship among diverse groups.

Economy and Environment
* Higher property value: Homes near green spaces often cost more and sell faster.

* Water management: Soil and grass absorb heavy rain to prevent floods.

* Wildlife homes: City parks give birds and butterflies a safe place to live.
