RAVE Rutland Area Vehicle Enthusiasts In March of 1980, R.A.V.E. was formally established as a non-profit organization. From the 41 shows R. A. V. E. R.A.V.E.

The Rutland Area Vehicle Enthusiasts was initially formed in1978 by a group of local individuals who shared an interest in the preservation and restoration of antique and classic automobiles, trucks, street rods and other types of motor vehicles. The first show put on by the club was held in July of 1980. The founders expanded on their basic interest in promoting vehicle preservation with a goal o

f giving financial contributions to various local charities. has sponsored, $185,000 has been donated to many local charitable organizations. holds an annual auto show at the Vermont State Fairgrounds in Rutland, Vermont the 2nd full weekend of July each year. The club also does occasional cruise nights, attend other car shows, and has many members who volunteer their time at various organizations in the area. We are always looking for new members to join our organization.

Here is an update on the car that the Stafford Tech Automotive student worked on this year for one of our RAVE members. We saw it partly finished at their show we attended. Great job by all!!!! Thank you to the staff for encouraging the students to take on these types of projects!

The $20 entry fee will go to support the Middlebury Vocational programs led by Hannaford Career Center making it a day of fun, community and charity!
