Sophia Snow Place

Sophia Snow Place Our sponsoring organization, the Roxbury Home for Aged Women, has been serving the community since 1856.

We are a unique senior living community that offers a comfortable lifestyle in a modern facility for an affordable cost on a lovely campus setting for both independent and supportive living. Sophia Snow Place is a senior living community that truly offers the best of both worldsβ€”a modern facility on an attractive urban campus, yet provided by a non-profit organization that has been helping women a

nd men to age with dignity for more than 150 years. At Sophia Snow Place, we offer Supportive Living in 36 private suites for those seniors who require assistance with some of the activities of daily living. Our services include 24 hour care, nursing staff on site, medication administration, and three meals each day, as well as housekeeping, laundry service, transportation, and a robust activities program. For those desiring a more independent lifestyle yet without the worries of home maintenance, we offer 66 spacious Independent Living apartments. Additional services such as housekeeping and meals may be purchased on an a la carte basis. As our Independent Living residents age, they have top priority for openings in our Supportive Living program, or may stay in their apartments with the support of additional services. Our location affords easy access to world-class medical care, rich cultural and educational resources, sporting events, fine dining and shopping. We are near the Faulkner Hospital, across the street from The Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University, and have the Allandale Woods reservation at our back door!
