I want to give a shout-out to a small business that has done phenomenal work for Roslindale Food Collective.

Jason at PrintPura has printed all of the new signs you’ve seen us using at our Sunday food distributions, and I honestly could not be happier with them. The quality of his work is excellent, his prices are extremely reasonable, and he has been wonderful to work with.

As a small nonprofit, every dollar matters to us, so finding someone who can provide high-quality work at a price we can actually afford makes a huge difference.

PrintPura does signs, banners, custom T-shirts, and other printing, so if you or your organization needs something printed, I absolutely recommend reaching out to Jason.

We are having our regular program on Sunday Sept 6th at 1195 Center Street West Roxbury. One box per car as supplies last. 3:00-3:30pm

Please do not arrive before 2:30pm you will be asked to return after 2:30pm

Amazingly we provided food to over 115 families (recipients + volunteers) some amazing corn and apples from Boston Food Hub, pineapples, peppers, cucumbers and lettuce from Fair Foods as well as plantains and bananas from Yell-O Glow! Plus the most amazing salmon and tuna donated from Seasons 52!

We are so appreciative of the opportunity to purchase such beautiful, high-quality produce from Fair Foods and Boston Food Hub to support our community. This week, we were able to serve over 125 families, representing more than 400 people. Every family who came to us left with a box of food, and somehow, we had exactly the number of boxes we needed. ❤️

🌱 IMPORTANT REMINDER: 1 BOX PER CAR 🌱

We’ve welcomed many new people recently, so we want to clarify how the Roslindale Food Collective works.

Unlike many traditional food pantries, we have no ZIP code restrictions, no ID requirements, and you are welcome to come every week. Our goal is to make food accessible to anyone who needs it.

We purchase much of the fresh produce in our boxes, including produce from local Massachusetts farmers. We do not have access to food from large organizations such as the Greater Boston Food Bank, and as such we rely on optional donations to help us continue purchasing food each week.

📦 Our one firm rule is ONE BOX PER CAR.

This allows us to be fair and make sure everyone waiting receives food. We never want someone to drive a long distance only to find that we’ve run out because multiple boxes were given to cars ahead of them.

If food remains after everyone has been served, we are always happy to provide if we have any additional food. It is never a guarantee and as such want to make sure it’s is not an expectation we cannot meet.

The program at 1195 Centre Street West Roxbury runs every Sunday 3-3:30 (Arrive AFTER 2:30pm) People can come from any location and no ID is ever required. We purchased beautiful fresh picked corn on the cob this week from Boston Food Hub as well as beautiful produce from Fair Foods.
