Roslindale Food Collective RFC reduces food waste and strengthens food security by uniting neighbors with purpose and compassion.

We rescue surplus food and turn it into weekly nourishment for families. Every box reflects our belief that healthy food is a right, not a privilege.

Every week Maggie shows up with prepacked wet and dry cat and dog food. Even bearded dragon food and food for many more pets. This is a true example of going above and beyond to support our community!

Just an amazing program today we took a headcount of how many people were fed it was 225 with recipients and with volunteers and their families we were over 300 people impacted today! GO TEAM!

Big partnership news! 🎉

We’re excited to share a new collaboration in the works between Roslindale Food Collective and
Age Strong / AmeriCorps Senior through the City of Boston!

Community has always been at the heart of what we do. Since day one, RFC has been powered by neighbors helping neighbors, and we’re thrilled about the opportunity to welcome AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers into our Sunday distributions.

These volunteers bring a lifetime of experience, compassion, energy, and a deep commitment to service. As we continue supporting over 120 families each week and moving thousands of pounds of food through our program, every helping hand makes a difference.

This partnership is another reminder that community care has no age limit and that meaningful impact happens when people come together. A huge thank you to Joseph Goncalves and the Boston Age Strong team. We’re looking forward to what’s ahead and excited to grow together.
