In November 2018, Officers from the West Reading and Wyomissing Police Departments participated in “No Shave November” and chose to contribute donations to Celia Consentino, an incredible little girl who is battling brain cancer. Today, Officers from the Departments had the opportunity and honor to meet with Celia and her family and present them with a check for over $4,400.

On behalf of the West Reading Police Department, I want to thank everyone who generously donated to this effort. I would also like to thank the Officers from each Department, who planned and participated in “No Shave November”.

Last, and most important, thank you Celia for allowing us to meet with you today, and for showing all of us what heart, fight and courage truly is.
