Our cadets recently had the great opportunity to attend the Vietnamese-American Uniformed Services Association annual gala in the National Capital Region. It was our first time back since COVID, and it was a tremendous event during which cadets connected with the midshipmen from Annapolis, and with new mentors. And our very own COL Khanh Diep, West Point Chief of Staff, was recognized for her exceptional leadership in the US Army. Thank you very much to VAUSA, and particularly to General Lapthe Flora and Admiral Huan Nguyen for their generous support and mentorship to our cadets.

It was another great weekend for VACA! Thank you to the cadet parents who donated the time, talents, and resources that made our gathering such a wonderful event.

We had a great start to the year tonight! We had the honor of hearing from COL Khanh Diep (USMA 1999), West Point Chief of Staff. COL Diep inspired the cadets with her story of coming to the US, attending West Point, becoming the captain of the tennis team, and serving a highly successful career. We also heard from Tuan Le (USMA 2016), who founded VACA and served as its first CIC. He challenged the cadets to strengthen relationships and keep the club strong. We owe a special thanks to our new CIC, Aidan Tran, for arranging everything and to Matthew Nguyen for some great food.
