OUR Mission
Our mission is to foster hope, enhance mobility, and rejuvenate the lives of Ukrainian war survivors who have lost limbs. Leveraging dedicated care, innovative rehabilitation techniques, and cutting-edge technology, we are committed to helping these brave individuals regain their independence and self-confidence. We aspire to bring about a transformation in their lives, creating an env

ironment that promotes healing and growth. We work tirelessly to ensure access to essential physical and emotional support, custom prosthetics, and vocational training, thereby empowering them to lead fulfilling lives post-trauma. OUR Vision
Our vision is to create a world where limb loss doesn’t equate to a loss of spirit, potential, or ability. We envision a society where every Ukrainian war survivor, regardless of their physical condition, is treated with dignity, respect, and offered the opportunity to live a life full of possibilities. We yearn for a future in which our beneficiaries not only reclaim their mobility, but also become inspiring leaders and contributors to their communities. By proactively advocating for their rights, raising awareness, and breaking down barriers, we aim to influence significant social change and foster a more inclusive, compassionate world.

Yesterday in Bowling Green Park, members of our community gathered as the Ukrainian flag was raised to mark four years since Russia’s full scale invasion of Ukraine.

The ceremony was originally planned for February 23 but had to be postponed due to weather. Despite the delay, it was meaningful to finally come together in the heart of New York to reflect, remember, and stand united in support of Ukraine.

One of the most powerful moments of the day was watching our Ukrainian defenders take part in raising the flag. Seeing the very men who have sacrificed so much for their country lift Ukraine’s flag high in New York was a reminder of the courage and resilience that continues to inspire the world.

The ceremony was made even more special by the beautiful performance of the national anthem of Ukraine Viktoriya Vennikova.

Thank you to the Consulate General of Ukraine in New York for bringing the community together, and to all who helped make the event possible, including the Постійне представництво України при ООН / Perm Mission of Ukraine to the UN, Svitanok, the Bowling Green Association, and Andrij Dobriansky.

Four years later, we continue to honor those who gave their lives, support those still defending freedom, and stand firmly with Ukraine.

Today, we honor Ukrainian women— and especially the women who choose to volunteer, to step forward, to carry more than they should have to.

They don’t do it for recognition.
They do it because it needs to be done.

Strong. Resilient. Unbreakable. You are the strength behind it all.

Some moments hit you right in the heart and remind you why all the long days matter.

Four days.

That’s all it took for Myron to stand up and start walking on his new prosthetic leg.

Four days after receiving it, he’s already taking steps on his own.

Not just standing. Not just balancing. Walking.

Watching him today, you wouldn’t see fear. You’d see focus. Determination. That stubborn, quiet strength so many of our guys carry. The kind that says, “I’m not done. Not even close.”

This is what real recovery looks like.
Not perfect. Not easy. But forward.

Every step is a win. Every step is independence coming back. Every step is a piece of life returning.
Prosthetics aren’t just devices. They’re freedom. Dignity. A second chance at normal.

So proud of you, Myron. Four days in and already moving mountains. And this is only the beginning. 💙💛

At OUR Foundation, this day carries a special meaning. We see the cost of war up close. We walk beside the defenders who lost limbs but never lost their spirit. We witness their grit, their humor, their hope, and their determination to rebuild their lives. These men and women remind us every day what true bravery looks like.

You gave your strength so others could live.

We will never stop honoring you, and are grateful every day for the privilege of serving heroes like you.

🇺🇦 з Днем волонтера
Honoring the hearts that hold our nation together.

Today we celebrate the people who show up, carry the weight, and give their time, skills, and souls to help others.

To every volunteer in America, Ukraine and around the world who stands with our people: THANK YOU. You pack medical kits, organize fundraisers, drive supplies, translate documents, carry heavy bags, and hold the hands of those learning to walk again after unimaginable loss. You do it quietly, humbly, and with love, not for recognition but simply because it’s the right thing to do.

At OUR Foundation, we are honored to walk alongside extraordinary volunteers who travel long distances, give their free hours, open their homes, bring their expertise, comfort and treat every defender like family.

Without you, nothing moves.
With you, everything is possible.

To our defenders, to our community, to every person who chooses to serve, today we celebrate you. Your kindness is stronger than any enemy, and your actions keep Ukraine alive.

🇺🇦💛💙

Ben Paramedic is a dedicated volunteer and a true supporter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Some people walk into a room and instantly lift the energy, Ben is one of those people… and his dog might actually lift the whole building. We’re lucky to know them both.

Ben donated adaptive clothing he designed for POHUY for our soldiers to wear during their rehabilitation here in America. It might sound simple, but for our defenders, those shirts are a symbol of strength, humor, and that unbreakable spirit that refuses to give up.

Ben, thank you for your service, your kindness, your loyalty to Ukraine.
