At Young Warriors Who Win, we believe our youth should have a voice in the work we do, and our youth and teens are showing us exactly what that looks like. 🧡

Our youth and teens are not just participating. They are actively helping us spread the word, recruit other youth, and encourage their peers to become part of the Young Warriors Who Win family.

They’re sharing their experiences, inviting others to get involved, and helping us build a community where more youth have access to mentorship, leadership opportunities, resources, and meaningful experiences. 🌱

This is what youth voice looks like.

It’s youth realizing that their voice matters, their experience matters, and they have the ability to help create opportunities for others.

We’re proud to watch our young warriors step up, speak up, and bring others along with them. 💙

Because leadership isn’t just about having a seat at the table. It’s about helping create more seats for others.

Our Havana Night Gala was a night to remember.

One of the most powerful moments of the evening was hearing directly from the students whose lives have been impacted by YEP.

Their stories of finding community, building confidence, growing as leaders, and achieving academic success are a testament to what's possible when young people are surrounded by support and opportunity.

These life-changing moments wouldn't be possible without the dedication of our mentors and the generosity of our donors and community partners such as United Way of Palm Beach County, Palm Beach County Youth Services Department and Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties. Thank you for believing in our mission and investing in the future of our youth.

We’re proud to highlight our partnership with AVDA AVDA Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse and the impact they made during our Summer Bridge Program.

As part of Summer Bridge, AVDA spent time with our youth providing important education and awareness around domestic and dating violence. Our youth learned how to recognize warning signs, identify unhealthy behaviors, understand what healthy boundaries can look like in a relationship, and know what resources are available if they or someone they know ever needs support. 🩵

These are conversations that matter.

We want our youth to have the knowledge and confidence to recognize what is healthy, understand what is not, and know that support is available when they need it.

We’re grateful to AVDA for taking the time to educate, empower, and provide our youth with resources that can help them make informed decisions and build healthier relationships.

After spending the day exploring Florida State University, our Summer Bridge girls gathered at BJ's to relax, share their favorite moments from campus, and enjoy time together before heading to the next stop on their journey.

From walking through FSU's campus and imagining what's possible after high school to laughing around the lunch table with new friends, every experience helped strengthen the connections that make Summer Bridge so special.

As the summer extension of Young Warriors Who Win (formerly Young Women Who Win), Summer Bridge gives girls opportunities to stay connected during the summer while growing socially, emotionally, and mentally through shared experiences, meaningful friendships, and unforgettable memories.

Because sometimes the most meaningful part of the journey isn't just where you go—it's who you experience it with. 💜

🤝🏽 New Partnership. More Mentors. Greater Impact.

We’re excited to officially welcome Boynton Beach Community High School as a new partner of Young Warriors Who Win!

Through this partnership, we’re bringing our Young Warriors Who Win Mentoring Program to BBCHS and we’re looking for caring, committed adults who are ready to make a difference in the life of a young person.

Our mentors commit to a minimum of 4 hours each month to build a meaningful relationship with their mentee, provide encouragement, listen, share their experiences, and help their mentee work toward their personal goals. 🧡

Mentorship is about more than showing up. It’s about being someone a young person can count on, someone who believes in them, and someone who helps them recognize their own potential.

We’re looking for mentors who are ready to invest their time, experience, and heart into our youth.

Summer may be ending, but the journey continues.

This year's Summer Bridge theme, Level Up Your Way, encouraged girls to grow socially, emotionally, and mentally while building friendships and leadership skills that will carry into the new school year.

As our students return to their classrooms, they do so with new memories, stronger connections, and the confidence that comes from knowing they have a community supporting them every step of the way.

Thank you to our guest speakers, volunteers and especially to our funders Palm Beach County Youth Services Department and United Way of Palm Beach County for making Summer Bridge possible.

Here's to an incredible school year ahead we can't wait to see what our girls accomplish next.
