Palm Beach County League of Cities Congratulates Westlake Vice Mayor Greg Langowski on Election as Florida League of Cities Second Vice President

August 19, 2026 – Palm Beach County, FL — The Palm Beach County League of Cities proudly congratulates City of Westlake Vice Mayor Greg Langowski on his election as Second Vice President of the Florida League of Cities.

Vice Mayor Langowski was selected during the Florida League of Cities Annual Conference, held August 13-15 in Hollywood, FL, where municipal leaders from across the state gathered to address issues impacting Florida’s cities and to strengthen the collective voice of local government.

The Florida League of Cities is a nonpartisan organization representing and advocating on behalf of Florida’s 411 municipalities, 39 of which are from Palm Beach County. Through education, advocacy and collaboration, the organization works to support municipal leaders and protect the ability of local governments to effectively serve their residents.

Vice Mayor Langowski’s election to this statewide leadership position is both a significant accomplishment and a proud moment for Palm Beach County. His service reflects the strong leadership of Palm Beach County’s municipalities and ensures our region will continue to have an important voice in conversations affecting cities throughout Florida.

“Vice Mayor Langowski has demonstrated a strong commitment to public service, collaboration and the principles of local government,” said City of Westlake Mayor John Paul O’Connor, President of the Palm Beach County League of Cities. “We are incredibly proud to see one of Palm Beach County’s municipal leaders take on this important statewide role. His experience and perspective will be a tremendous asset to the Florida League of Cities and to municipalities across our state.”

In his new role as Second Vice President, Vice Mayor Langowski will help advance the Florida League of Cities’ mission of supporting municipal leadership, strengthening Florida’s cities and advocating for the needs of local communities.

The Palm Beach County League of Cities congratulates Vice Mayor Greg Langowski on this well-deserved achievement and looks forward to his continued leadership and service to the City of Westlake, Palm Beach County and municipalities throughout the State of Florida.

On August 13-15 elected officials from all over Palm Beach County attended the 2026 Florida League of Cities Annual Conference in Hollywood, Florida. FLC installed their new Board of Directors including Vice Mayor Greg Langowski of the City of Westlake who was installed as Second Vice President. Also, the PBC League of Cities held our Annual Gold Coast Breakfast where Michelle McGovern of Comcast spoke. Florida League of Cities, Inc.
