Yesterday we kicked off summer with our first day of children's camp at the Lighthouse! Students had the opportunity to visit Eastside Acres Ranch and meet their farm animals! The students learned about cows, pigs, chickens, alpacas, bunnies, and goats. The group learned about how to care for the animals and their characteristics. The highlight of the day: feeding and holding some of the animals! We finished the day with a stop at Carvel for ice cream! We love exploring our community!

💙 Celebrating National Men's Health Month! 💙

In June, the Palm Beach Focus Club proudly celebrated National Men's Health Month by wearing blue to show support and raise awareness about men's health and wellness. We were honored to welcome guest speakers from the Palm Beach County Therapeutic Recreation Center, who shared valuable information about the many recreational and therapeutic programs available in our community. To top off a wonderful social gathering, The Scoop Coop Ice Cream Truck stopped by for a special treat! Members had a great time choosing their favorite ice cream flavors and enjoying them together. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event informative, fun, and memorable! 🍦💙

On May 21st, we enjoyed a narrated wildlife cruise through the “jungles” of the St. Lucie River! Along the way, we learned about the area’s fascinating flora, fauna, and rich history while taking in the relaxing boat ride and an amazing river breeze.

A special thank you to River Lilly Cruises for the incredible job describing the surrounding wildlife and scenery, and for the warm welcome that made the experience even more enjoyable!

After the cruise, we wrapped up the afternoon with a picnic lunch at River Park Marina — the perfect ending to a peaceful and memorable outing!
