Alumni Relations Highlight for December 5, 2025


Help Shape the Class of 2030 as an Interviewer!

When you register to become an Admissions Ambassador, you join thousands of fellow alumni who interview prospective students and help shape each incoming class of Dartmouth students.

As an interviewer, you provide valuable insight into each applicant’s achievements and help enrich their understanding of the Dartmouth experience. Interviews will take place in January and February, and interview reports are due by February 23.

Reasons to become an Admissions Ambassador:
• You can do it from anywhere. Interviews may be conducted in person or virtually, so you can choose to meet with local students or with students from any region. All you need is an internet connection and a desire to make a difference.
• It is a low time commitment. Each interview and the subsequent write up takes about an hour, and you can take on as many interviews as you would like.
• You play a direct role in helping identify students who are a great fit for Dartmouth.
• Hear from President Beilock about one of the reasons she believes students are choosing Dartmouth.

Sign up by January 4 to support Dartmouth in a fun and truly meaningful way. If you are already signed up as an ambassador, please help us spread the word about this opportunity with your Dartmouth network. This is a wonderful way to engage a classmate or friend who is interested in keeping their Big Green connection strong.

NEW HAVEN, Conn.—Dartmouth men's hockey earned its first sole Ivy League title since 1979-80 on Saturday night with a 5-1 win over Yale to close out the regular season.

Looking for a fun and exciting way to volunteer for Dartmouth? Sign up to be a Dartmouth Admissions Ambassador in your area!

Admissions Ambassadors interview prospective students—in person or remotely—to provide the Office of Admissions with greater insights into applicants’ achievements, and they enrich applicants’ understanding of the Dartmouth experience. Meeting with a prospective student and sending a report to Dartmouth takes about an hour—and it’s work that has tremendous impact.

Keep the Dartmouth tradition of an alumni interview alive by signing up to do your part. All alumni and graduating seniors are welcome to join.

All-Ivy Networking Event


OPEN TO: All Ivy League Alumni
DATE: Wednesday, November 15, 2023
TIME: 6 - 8 PM
COST: $25 per person
LOCATION: Delray Beach Club (2001 S Ocean Blvd., Delray Beach, FL 33483)

Join us for this 2 hour networking event at the Delray Beach Club. This is an All-Ivy networking event. Please invite all of your Ivy League professional colleagues to attend. Club attire is required (collared shirts and slacks and closed toe shoes for men) and no denim is permitted. Cell phone use is also prohibited.

Cost per person of $25 includes passed appetizers and soft drinks. A cash bar will be available for beer and wine.

Dartmouth friends: Anyone interested in being a debate competition judge? See below and let me know:

Good afternoon,

I'm writing to invite members of the Dartmouth Club of Palm Beach to join Incubate Debate to judge our students.

Incubate Debate is a non-profit committed to providing underserved students with no-cost debate camps, workshops and tournaments. Our next tournament will be on Saturday, October 7th at Palm Beach Atlantic University, and it'd be a pleasure to have your members join us as judges.

Over 100 students from across Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade Counties will be competing with each other about salient topics concerning foreign policy, current events, U.S. economics and the U.S. government. While other debate leagues rely on parent judges, we rely on citizen judges to unite communities and allow parents to watch their children compete. It means a lot to have groups, especially alumni associations, judge our tournaments and support our students.

The tournament will last from 10am to 5pm, and we offer two time slots for judges:

Slot A: 10 am - 2 pm

Slot B: 2 pm - 5 pm

I'd be happy to share any more details or set up a call for sometime this or next week. It'd be wonderful to have your club represented at our event, as many of our students aspire to attend Ivy League schools after graduation :)
