MLK Coordinating Committee West Palm Beach Dr. Martin Luther King Coordinating Committee's mission is to provide information & education re: Dr. King's ideal of nonviolent change for a better world.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Coordinating Committee's, (MLKCC), mission is to provide public, multicultural, family-oriented activities to honor Dr. King; to enable people to reflect on his life and core values through cultural education, performances, exhibitions and events; and to act on his principles through community programs and services. MLKCC’s target is usually-excluded youth in drug and crime

infested areas.An all volunteer organization, MLKCC facilitates learning the power of nonviolence, tolerance of diversity, and building racial accord. MLKCC impacts Palm Beach County through access to Dr. King’s teachings and African American heritage and enriches MLKCC’s legacy as a leader in the cultural fabric of the county. MLKCC’s Annual Affair offers 1,500+ youth contests to express Dr. King’s dream with their artistic and leadership gifts. MLKCC community programs and services include Health and Safety Fairs; Peace Camps; Special Events; Food Distribution; and Elder Caregivers. MLKCC is an all-volunteer organization, and its landmark is the establishment of the Dr. Martin Luther King Memorial Park at 2200 N Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach, Florida’s largest, black heritage site. Highlights are Dr. King’s bronze statue, granite wall, waterfall, & flags flying over the Intracoastal. Over its 35 year history, MLKCC is proud to have garnered the support of families, community leaders, educators and activists to motivate students, enrich their lives, and launch them toward fulfilling lives enhanced with their self-esteem, respect for others, and cooperation with all.

This year we're celebrating the memory and teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at our annual scholarship breakfast, virtually on January 18th at 9AM, so we can help keep everyone safe. Grab your own breakfast and join our program from your home or office or even on your cell phone.
