Should parents tell their kids that Santa isn’t real?

Every family navigates this differently but one thing matters most truth builds trust
Christmas isn’t about protecting a myth, it’s about pointing hearts to the greatest gift ever given Jesus.

When children grow up knowing they can trust your words, they’re more open to trusting God’s truth too.

Let wonder remain. Let joy remain.
But let Christ be the center not confusion.

Buy the truth, and do not sell it.
Proverbs 23:23

Former AC Milan star Kevin-Prince Boateng shared a powerful truth:
before he encountered Jesus, his life felt chaotic and broken because there was no godly order in the home he grew up in.

Talent couldn’t fix it. Fame couldn’t heal it.
But Christ brought clarity, peace, and purpose.

God’s design for the home isn’t restrictive it’s protective.
When Christ is the foundation, everything else finds its place.

But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Joshua 24:15

You don’t pour energy into something you’re already planning to abandon.
You don’t protect what you’ve secretly decided to walk away from.

If you’ve stopped fighting… maybe it’s time to ask why.

God calls us to stand firm, to contend, to remain faithful especially when it’s hard.
Because covenant, calling, and character are proven in the fight, not the exit.

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
1 Corinthians 16:13

The scoreboard shows a winner and a loser…
but when Patriots and Bills players bowed their heads together after the game, everyone won.

Different teams. Same prayer.
Win or lose, Jesus still gets the glory.

In a world obsessed with results, this is a reminder that our identity isn’t found in a stat line it’s found in Christ.

In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:6

In the middle of chaos… fists flying, tempers flaring… something powerful happened.

While a fight broke out between Michigan and Ohio State players, three Ohio State players and one Michigan player chose prayer instead of pride.

Different jerseys. Same Savior.

That moment preached louder than any touchdown:
Violence isn’t the answer.
Jesus is.

In a world that tells us to react, Christ calls us to respond with humility, peace, and courage. This is what it looks like to be in the world but not of it.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
Matthew 5:9

In a world full of noise, lights, and distractions… one quiet voice still cuts through it all.

When Charlie Brown asked, Isn’t there anyone who knows what Christmas is all about?
Linus didn’t give an opinion. He gave Scripture.

Under a single spotlight, he reminded us that Christmas isn’t about gifts, fame, or feelings it’s about God stepping into humanity.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2:11

That moment still hits decades later because truth never gets old.
Hope has a name. Peace has a Person. And His name is Jesus.

After taking down #1 Ohio State and winning the Big Ten Championship, Indiana Hoosiers QB Fernando Mendoza didn’t point to stats, hype, or himself
he pointed up.

In the biggest moment, he gave all the glory to God.
That’s what real confidence looks like.
That’s what it means to know where your strength comes from.

Wins fade. Records fall.
But honoring God in the spotlight? That lasts forever.

📖 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:5–6

When Ravens players kneel to wash students’ feet and give them new shoes, they’re showing the world what real leadership looks like.
Not status. Not spotlight. Service.

True strength isn’t proven by how high you stand
it’s revealed by how low you’re willing to kneel.

This is humility in action.
This is faith with sleeves rolled up.
This is Jesus’ way lived out loud.

Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
John 13:14

That haunting melody from Home Alone Carol of the Bells isn’t just movie nostalgia.
It’s a reminder that light breaks through fear, peace overcomes chaos, and God shows up right on time.

When the world feels loud, rushed, and overwhelming, heaven is still singing.
And the message hasn’t changed:

Christ has come. Hope is here. You are not alone.

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined.
Isaiah 9:2

Bitterness is destroying more marriages than the devil ever could.

Most couples don’t fall apart from one big moment…
They fall apart from a lifetime of small offenses that were never released.

The love God calls us to walk in isn’t emotional or convenient.
It’s sacrificial.
It’s humble.
And it refuses to keep score.

Every time you replay old wounds, you reopen them.
Every time you release them, you rebuild trust.

Your marriage doesn’t get stronger when you win arguments
It gets stronger when you choose forgiveness over resentment.

Love… keeps no record of wrongs.
1 Corinthians 13:5

When men refuse to stand, society suffers.
When men abandon their God given role, chaos fills the gap.

God designed men to lead with courage,
to protect what’s good,
to serve with humility,
and to stand firm when it’s easier to stay silent.

Weak leadership creates confusion.
Absent fathers create wounds.
Passive faith creates empty churches.

But when men rise up grounded in truth, anchored in Christ families heal, communities strengthen, and light pushes back darkness.

This world doesn’t need louder opinions.
It needs men who will stand.

Bible Reference:
Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
1 Corinthians 16:13

our jersey gets heavy from life not just the game.

The pressure isn’t only in the reps, the minutes, or the score.
It’s in the expectations.
The criticism.
The fear of letting people down.
The weight of carrying things no one sees.

God never asked you to carry it alone.

Bible Reference:
Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7

You don’t have to prove your worth through performance.
Your value was already settled at the cross.
